WWE Raw Superstar Takes Referee Role During WWE Hiatus

Braun Strowman, WWE’s “Monster of All Monsters,” is stepping into a unique role outside of WWE programming as he recovers from a groin injury.

Strowman’s Special Role at GLCW’s Blizzard Brawl

While on hiatus from WWE following his injury in a Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on September 30, Braun Strowman is making waves at an independent event. Strowman will serve as a special guest referee at GLCW’s Blizzard Brawl on December 7.

The match features The Newest Rockers (Kal Herro and Al Snow) taking on fan-favorite duo Santino Marella and Damien Sandow. The event promises to give fans a rare chance to see Strowman in action, albeit in a different capacity.

Strowman Promotes the Event

Strowman hyped up the event on Instagram, writing, “When the monster comes around!!!! Standing Room Only – $20 in advance or $25 at the door.” His excitement has fans eager to see the WWE Superstar back in action, even if not as a competitor.

What This Could Mean for Strowman’s Future

This referee role marks one of Strowman’s few appearances outside WWE, following a recent dark match after SmackDown on November 15. It’s unclear if this hints at additional non-WWE activities or simply keeps him connected with fans while he recovers.

As of now, no official return date for Strowman’s in-ring WWE career has been announced. However, his participation in Blizzard Brawl reassures fans that the “Monster Among Men” remains an active presence in the wrestling world.

Fans Anticipate Strowman’s WWE Comeback

Strowman’s involvement at Blizzard Brawl offers fans a glimpse of his charisma and connection with the wrestling community during his time away from WWE. Whether as a referee or eventual competitor, his return to WWE television remains highly anticipated.
