NXT Superstar Discusses WWE Main Roster Goals: Eyes Big Matches and Milestones

Ethan Page, a standout talent in WWE’s NXT brand, recently opened up about his potential move to the main roster. Speaking on The Takedown podcast, Page emphasized his focus on financial security for his family and his desire to tackle iconic WWE milestones, including high-profile matches at WrestleMania and Royal Rumble.

Why Ethan Page is Eyeing the Main Roster

At 35 years old, Page revealed that a main roster promotion would help him “stack cash” quickly to support his wife and two children. Reflecting on his journey and goals, he said, “I’m just trying to make sure everyone’s happy and taken care of. For that to happen, I probably gotta brush shoulders with guys like [CM Punk] who screwed me.”

Page even joked about becoming a special guest referee for Punk, adding his unique flair to the rivalry.

Dream Matches and Future Aspirations

Page expressed interest in facing some of WWE’s biggest stars, including Randy Orton, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes. He also highlighted his desire to participate in high-stakes events like the Elimination Chamber in Toronto next year.

“Randy’s one of my favorite wrestlers growing up,” Page shared. “I’d love to handle that. John Cena, he can get some too… WrestleMania, you said it. Let’s definitely do one of those.”

Balancing NXT Success with Future Plans

Currently focused on the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, Page remains committed to reclaiming the NXT Championship. However, his sights are clearly set on long-term success on WWE’s main roster.

What’s Next for Ethan Page?

While no official timeline has been announced for his main roster call-up, fans eagerly anticipate how his charisma and in-ring skills will translate to WWE’s flagship shows.
