LA Knight Injury Rumor Latest: Shut Down by WWE

WWE has officially denied rumors of LA Knight suffering an injury after confusion arose over a canceled appearance at a meet and greet event.

On December 17, 2024, wrestling fans were concerned when Luekens Wine & Spirits announced that LA Knight had to withdraw from a scheduled meet and greet due to an injury. The social media post stated, “While we’re sad to announce that WWE Superstar LA Knight is unable to attend the December 17th event due to injury, we’ve got great news: WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has stepped up to replace him!”

This statement sparked widespread speculation about Knight’s health, with fans worrying about the severity of a potential injury. Given Knight’s rising popularity and prominent role on WWE SmackDown, these rumors quickly gained traction.

WWE Confirms LA Knight Is Not Injured

However, Fightful Select quickly reported that WWE denied the injury claim. According to WWE sources, LA Knight was never injured, nor was he approved for the meet and greet appearance in the first place. The confusion seems to have stemmed from a miscommunication on the event organizer’s part.

WWE clarified the situation behind the scenes, reassuring fans that Knight remains active and ready to compete. The misunderstanding led to Braun Strowman stepping in for the event, ensuring fans still had the opportunity to meet a WWE superstar.

LA Knight’s Current WWE Status

LA Knight was last seen in action during the December 13 tapings of SmackDown, where he competed in a match set to air on December 20. His continued participation in WWE programming confirms that he is not dealing with any injury concerns.

This update has eased fans’ worries and reaffirmed that Knight remains an essential part of WWE’s ongoing storylines. Given his impressive rise and fan support, Knight’s momentum is showing no signs of slowing down.

Braun Strowman Steps In

While LA Knight’s absence was disappointing for some, Braun Strowman filled in admirably for the meet and greet. Strowman’s presence added star power and ensured attendees still had a memorable experience.
