WWE Raw Star Pushes Through Illness with Intense Workout Session

WWE superstar Sonya Deville recently revealed that she completed an intense workout session despite being sick, demonstrating her dedication to fitness and resilience.

Sonya Deville Shares Her Illness and Workout Routine

On December 11, 2024, Sonya Deville took to her Instagram Stories to share a candid update about her health and fitness routine. Deville, known for her commitment to a healthy lifestyle, announced that she had been feeling under the weather for the past few days. Instead of skipping her workout altogether, she opted for an alternative session focused on cardio and sweating out the illness.

Deville explained, “I have been sick the last couple of days, and I wasn’t feeling a full-on weightlifting session. So I did some cardio, spent 30 minutes on the Airdyne bike followed by 45 minutes in the sauna, and I feel so much better when I sweat while I am sick.”

The Benefits of Working Out While Sick

While some may question working out during illness, Deville’s approach highlights the potential benefits of moderate exercise when feeling unwell. Light cardio can help boost endorphins and improve circulation, which may aid in recovery. The time spent in the sauna also helped Deville sweat out toxins, a practice some believe supports the immune system.

However, it’s important to note that this approach works best for mild illnesses. For more severe symptoms, rest and hydration remain key.

Sonya Deville’s Dedication to Fitness

Deville, a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, has always been transparent about her dedication to health and fitness. Her latest update showcases not only her physical discipline but also her mental toughness. Despite feeling sick, she stayed committed to her wellness routine, an inspiring move for her fans and followers.

H3: Active on Social Media and WWE RAW

Even while recovering, Deville remains active on social media and WWE programming. She recently shared strong opinions on WWE’s booking decisions, continuing to engage with her fans and stay relevant in the wrestling community.
