This plan was revealed by Chris Legentil, WWE’s Executive VP of Talent Relations and Head of Communications, during his appearance on the Sports Business Journal Sports Media podcast. Legentil explained that WWE’s recent collaboration with Netflix will play a crucial role in selecting strategic international locations to grow WWE’s fanbase and attract more Netflix subscribers.

Successful 2024 International Events

WWE’s push toward global expansion has been evident in 2024, with eight out of twelve PLEs held outside the United States. These events spanned countries like Saudi Arabia, Canada, Australia, France, Scotland, and Germany, bringing WWE’s electrifying action to fans worldwide. The Role of Netflix in WWE’s Expansion

With WWE RAW’s move to Netflix in January 2025, the streaming giant’s global reach will help WWE strategically plan its international events.
